Interior designer home for sale in Dallas

I love picking around at real estate listings on line and stumbled upon this amazing home for sale in Dallas. There are many more pictures and information about the home, but the interior caught my eye.

Originally constructed in 1930, this two-story Georgian home was transformed by interior designer, Shannon Bowers into a haven of European elegance.  The home is also featured in Veranda.  If I was in the market, I'd jump at this!

Love...Sonya Shinn Edwards

Local Dallas artist Sonya Shinn Edwards caught my eye with her muted, soft colors and amazing pieces of art.  Check out her blog as well.

Cool change

After a long, hot summer here we had a beautiful cool snap and I became inspired to put out my fall accessories.  I think between the heat, kids home, and activities I put blogging on the back burner.  I'm hoping the cool change will keep me inspired.  Here are some great ideas to do around your home.

Just by adding a few mums, pumpkins, corn, and candles you can create a warm and cozy look for Fall.

Red rain gear

It has been raining here for about 48 hours and I realize that I need to upgrade my rain gear!  I am drawn to red to brighten up a dreary day.

Everything on this page is rain or snow resistant and still looks chic.  Resources here.

Hotel Caruso, Ravello, Italy

"Nearer to the sky than it is to the sea", is how author AndrĂ© Gide described Ravello. For from this idyllic town, set high on cliffs above Amalfi, with the azure sea far below, it feels like you are close to heaven.  I had to share this amazing place with you after my sister sent me the link to where she is spending her birthday!  I'm so jealous, but thrilled she is having so much fun.  Click here for lots more information on the Hotel Curuso.
