Cold Front!

Not really the "cold" front you might expect, but it is so much nicer out and dropping into the 50's tonight .  This photo really gets me inspired for chilly nights!

Snowed in

We have had record low temperatures, sleet, ice and snow here and all the schools are closed.  I plan on staying inside where it is warm and making some chili!  Hope you are all doing the same.

Traveling and family

It is not officially the weekend, but it is hump day and I will be enjoying some family time.  We are driving to Houston today for a great celebration then back home tomorrow to begin our family Christmas.  I'm ready to wind down and relax for a few days.  Have a very Merry Christmas!

Warm up by the Fire

We are expecting another winter storm here and this photo from Home and Cottage makes me want to curl up and stay indoors all day. Love the colors, the dog and the whole look.  Stay warm!

Outdoor Fireplaces

Our weather in the South is staying cold and I feel like I can't warm up.  I hope these pictures of yummy outdoor fireplaces will keep you toasty.  The natural stone and brick on all of these really makes it look great.
