On Her:
1.  Double breasted wool blazer:  $130
2.  Houndstooth ruffle waist skirt:  $69.50
3.  Wool crinkle scarf:  $39.50

Dining al fresco: blues and whites

The weather here has been fabulous and will surely not last long.  These table settings inspire me to serve dinner outside and take advantage of the comfortable temperatures.

I love the crisp feel of the blues and whites and how each setting is so unique.  The lush backdrops aren't bad to look at either!

Make your bed

Hello.  I have been busy these past few months planning and celebrating the wedding of our daughter.  The wedding was a week ago and I'll share some pictures with you soon.  We still need to update and redo her bedroom and I received a new catalog that is very inspiring.  Serena and Lily!

There are so many wonderful options in bedding, fabric, furnishings, etc... that I just couldn't post them all.  They have a link that allows you to "Make your bed".  You can experiment with hundreds of bedding combinations until you find the one you love.  You will find lots of inspiring ideas at Serena and Lily for your living room, rugs, furniture, paint, kids rooms and gifts.  Be sure to check them out soon.

Comfy couches

These soft, lovely couches are so inviting and look so comfortable.  The fluffy pillows and relaxed fabrics really appeal to me.  Of course the adorable dog in picture 2 makes my heart melt!

Malibu home crush

I love the beach and I love homes decorated with natural and blue tones.  This is perfect!

This lovely home is in Mailbu, California and was designed by Madeline Stuart and photographed by Dominique Vorillion.  The guest room, in the last photo, is enough to make me stay a LONG time!

Steven Gambrel

Featured in Elle Decor and photographed by Simon Upton, the designer,  Steven Gambrel, describes the casually elegant decor as an "ode to an English country house with a fresh take".  I'm loving the bright, open rooms and choices of colors throughout.  The kitchen is to die for!  Many more lovely photos to see and article to read right here

Dreamy and Creamy

I came across this lovely room while viewing the Carrier and Company website, and absolutely fell in love.  I am a huge fan of neutral and cream, with a pop of blue and this has it all!  The large piece of art and bold color pulls the room together.  This would be perfect for a kid and pet free home.  :)

White holiday decor

I am always drawn to white interiors, even when it comes to holiday decorating.  Love the flocked trees, white candles and crystal accessories.

Hotel Caruso, Ravello, Italy

"Nearer to the sky than it is to the sea", is how author André Gide described Ravello. For from this idyllic town, set high on cliffs above Amalfi, with the azure sea far below, it feels like you are close to heaven.  I had to share this amazing place with you after my sister sent me the link to where she is spending her birthday!  I'm so jealous, but thrilled she is having so much fun.  Click here for lots more information on the Hotel Curuso.

Mike collects pieces of wood from around Scotland, and turns them into beautiful objects! From Bird Boxes to Bee Hotels, Candle holders to Driftwood Picture Frames, you'll find them all here. Enjoy looking round!
