The easy part about planning this trip was picking where to stay. Without a question if you want to stay on the beach, love first class service and a great location you need to stay at Shutters. I've been looking for an excuse to get back here and now it's happening. I will be taking a few day off for R & R and back soon.

Shutters on the beach
I am one of 4 siblings, of which 3 are girls. Me and my 2 sisters are taking a break from our real jobs and meeting in Santa Monica, CA for a couple nights of well deserved "catch up" time and bonding.

A Room with Tea and Wit
On our way to Carmel last week we spent a day and night in San Francisco. One of our most favorite cities, and I stumbled upon this precious tea room, Crown & Crumpet in Ghiradelli Square. Everything from the decor to the menu makes me happy! A destination tearoom know for top-quality food and excellent libations, all with the style and charm that one finds in modern day Britian. Next time you are in San Francisco I recommend you stop by.

Outfit Inspiration
As I am planning on what to pack for our upcoming trip to to Carmel, CA, I was inspired by these looks that I found in the new Anthropologie catalog. Cooler weather and casual attire. Can't wait!
1. Cooling palette dress with wrapped and braided belt
2. Whirl and wind cardigan with rising stripes shorts
3. Daywalk blouse and penciled abronia skirt
4. Buoyant bunches cardi and bungalow view maillot

Couples Get Away
After living in Northern California for a few years, I have always loved traveling back to Carmel. It's location, beauty and charm put this city at the top of my "favorite" list. I'm looking forward to another visit with great friends to celebrate special birthdays in April.
We are going to be staying at the Cypress Inn which is located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, surrounded by galleries, restaurants, and just blocks from the beautiful beach. Dogs and cats are welcome guests if desired and the Inn is owned by Doris Day and Dennis LeVett. We can hardly wait to get there!
